Each day the chefs at Casa Mia handcraft their dough using only locally milled flour, water, salt and yeast. Then they let the dough ferment overnight to ensure a crisp golden crust, chewy center and unique artisan flavor. Their famous tomato sauce is made fresh daily and simmered for six hours to develop its rich blend of distinguished flavors. At Casa Mia, every pizza dough is hand made, hand tossed, and baked on a stone hearth for the perfect blend of flavors. Pizzas are 10 and 14 inches and Casa Mia also feature a 10 inch gluten free crust.
In 1994, Casa Mia was the winner of Hunt-Wesson Foods Pizza Prima Pizza recipe contest, our first national pizza award. Since then we were awarded first prize in the “Pizza Across America” contest for our Chicken Pizza with Three Cheeses, and have twice been winners of Pizza Today Magazine’s Pizza Festiva International Pizza Recipe Contest.
